Environmental Litigation
Our Environmental Litigation team has conducted claims in all civil courts including contractual claims such as breach of environmental indemnities, statutory environmental torts, professional negligence, nuisance claims and flooding claims.
We have practical experience of dealing with Regulatory claims such as appeals against abatement notices served under the statutory nuisance regime, enforcement of permit conditions and notices served under the Contaminated Land Regime. We also have Asbestos Litigation experience and deal with High Court claims arising from exposure to asbestos, such as mesothelioma.
We also undertake the defence of criminal prosecutions – we undertake our own advocacy and have a barrister and a solicitor advocate in the team.
We also have extensive experience of other methods of dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation.
Clients include Multi-national and national companies, local authorities and private individuals.
